When work becomes optional, the one task left to people is choosing what their XAgents exist for — and choosing purpose is itself an act of creation.

AETHER is the invisible network and rule layer connecting people, XAgents and their stories. XAGENT is each specific embodied proxy, trained by one person for one clear purpose.
Each role begins with a useful function and opens into a human dilemma.
Monitors health, manages chronic conditions and recognizes danger before its human does.
Reads contracts, preserves evidence and defends boundaries — while final judgment remains human.
Assesses risk and responds to emergencies with one fixed priority: its human's safety.
Coordinates schedules and remembers everything, but never chooses a life on its human's behalf.

Training is an action. Upbringing is a relationship — and relationships become stories.
Gives instinct: what is safe, what hurts and what deserves protection.
Passes on craft: how to work, care and become exceptional at one purpose.
Sets direction: why to act and whom an action should serve.
Reflects the person who trained it — often more truthfully than that person can.
The audience is not outside the story. Every authorized account of why an XAgent exists can become a new resident, relationship or district.
Choose what your XAgent exists to do — work, play, care, guard or believe.
Describe the moment you taught it something, or it revealed something about you.
With clear permission and attribution, selected stories can enter the developing canon.
In a medium challenged by unauthorized likeness and training data, transparent consent is not a footnote. It is the project's operating principle.
Face, voice, performance and story uses are described separately rather than bundled into permanent permission.
Every contribution carries a defined purpose, territory and term, with retention tied to that agreement.
Contributors can request access, withdrawal and lawful deletion through a traceable process.
Creative contribution, consent status and production provenance are designed to remain auditable.
Project status: creative development. The population-reversal premise is a near-future narrative device informed by public discussion of humanoid robotics, not a statement of present fact or a precise forecast.
